There are three main types of dragons (as opposed to other creatures that have the dragon type): Metallic, Gem, and Chromatic. The Metallic dragons are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Copper, Brass; they are all Good, usually noble, very strong physically, and highly respected by the wise. The Gem Dragons are Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Topaz, Crystal; they are all Neutral, stand-offish, loners as a rule, and they are always most concerned about their own needs. The Chromatic dragons are White, Red, Black, Blue, Green; they are all Evil, very powerful with magic, and extremely fierce. They range in length from several feet upon hatching to more than 100 feet after attaining the status of great wyrm. Although goals and ideals vary among varieties, all dragons are covetous. They like to hoard wealth, collecting mounds of coins and gathering as many gems, jewels, and magic items as possible. Those with large caches are loath to leave them for long, venturing out of their lairs only to patrol the immediate area or to get food. For dragons, there is no such thing as enough treasure. It's pleasing to look at, and they bask in its radiance. Dragons like to make beds of their hoards, shaping nooks and mounds to fit their bodies. By the time a dragon matures to the age of great wyrm, hundreds of gems and coins may be embedded in its hide.
NOTE: It is important to choose your alignment wisely because it will determine your evolutional path. Once you pick your alignment once you become a Hatchling, you can not change into a different alignment.
Good Alignment: Hatchling - > Colored Dragon - > Metallic Wyrm - > Prismatic Wyrm
Neutral Alignment: Hatchling - > Colored Dragon - > Gem Wyrm - > Prismatic Wyrm
Evil Alignment: Hatchling - > Colored Dragon - > Chromatic Wyrm - > Prismatic Wyrm
Colored Dragon
Your alignment and amount of kills determines the color of dragon you become - it is not a path. For example, if you become a Bronze, then you move onto attaining Metallic Wyrm. The level range for attaining a colored dragon evo is 150-250.

Once you have attained a Colored Dragon form, you will move onto your Metallic, Gem, or Chromatic Wyrm form. The amount of kills you need depends on which Colored Dragon you are. The level range for Metallic, Gem, and Chromatic Wyrms is 200-275, and you have a 1% chance to attain them.

Prismatic Wyrm
To become a Prismatic Wyrm, you must be fourth tier. If you are third tier and you are a Metallic, Gem, or Chromatic Wyrm - congratulations! It's time to start your journey in the next tier! Becoming a Prismatic Wyrm, like most of the Hatchling evolution line, is full of more options. The level range to attain Prismatic Wyrm is 250-325, and you have a 1% chance of getting it.
If you are a Chromatic Wyrm, you have two ways to become a Prismatic Wyrm.
