Reploid

Reploids are highly advanced Androids that have been upgraded numerous times on their mechanical bodies. Reploids typically try to make their appearance to be the most human-like they can in hopes of recovering their lost humanity. In this desperation, they replace their latex skin with the flesh of their enemies. After this has occured, their upgraded body syntheses the skin with their armor to prevent it from decaying and gives it a nice shiny coat. No matter how hard a Reploid may try to regain it's former humanity, they will never be what they once were.
