When a kitsune gathers enough wisdom, age, experience , and mind balance they start growing more tails as they get older.
When it reaches 5 tails its fur turns gold, and it is now know as a "Tenko".

At this stage, their affinity with the supernatural is much higher than regular kitsunes.
Later, when they age, they become Inari's (Rice godsses) servants and messagers,
